Our Story

Rooted in Oklahoma,
shaped by patience

Oakwood Vineyards began as a simple conviction: that Oklahoma soil could produce something truly remarkable. What started as a handful of vine cuttings and a passion for fermentation has grown into a full-sense experience — a vineyard, a bakery, and a gathering place on the southeast edge of Oklahoma City.

Every loaf we bake and every bottle we pour carries the same intention: to slow things down and make room for what matters. Our sourdough starts with a 30-year-old starter. Our wines age in oak long enough to earn their complexity. And our doors stay open long enough for you to stay a while.

Whether you're joining us for a weekend tasting, a private event under the vines, or simply a loaf of bread on your way home, here's what awaits.

Vineyard Tastings

Join us at the barrel room or on the patio for a guided tasting of our current releases. No reservation needed on weekdays; weekends fill up — book ahead to secure your seat among the vines.

Bakery Walk-ins

Our bakery opens at dawn and sells out by afternoon. Come early for the full selection — croissants still warm, sourdough with a crackling crust, and whatever seasonal special our bakers have in mind that morning.

Private Events

From intimate wine-and-cheese evenings to full vineyard rentals for celebrations, we work with you to craft an event that feels uniquely yours — with food, wine, and the setting doing the rest.

Harvest Season

Each fall, we open the vineyard for our annual harvest festival — a hands-on celebration of grape picking, crushing, and community. It's our favorite day of the year, and we'd love for you to be part of it.
